Warcraft: Shadow Wars part 8

Waiting in Suspense

While Nina and Maria were away, Elise and Arkanis had awoken in the morning to enjoy their time together. The two were however interrupted as Elise began to near the moment where she will give birth to her children.

Meanwhile, Nina and Sethion were eating breakfast in peace, the two seeming to manage a casual chat about the upcoming ball. As time went on, Nina began to feel more and more comfortable near the undead elf, and the feeling seemed mutual.

After finishing breakfast, the two began to get ready for departure. Nina was a bit worried about Elise, but Sethion was there to reassure her. "Don't worry, Nina. I'm sure your friend Elise is doing well. After all, she has Arkanis with her."

The woman smiled a bit as she heard this, and the two left the house with Nina clinging to Sethion as they traversed near the Dead Scar again. Meanwhile, Maria and Tythes were busy arguing at the man's house yet again.

However, this time it seemed to be getting close to a point where the two would attack one another, both of them yelling at each other in apparent anger. But, a few moments later the two calmed down, both looking at each other in the eyes.

Maria speaked out to the man in front of her, her voice slightly worn from all the yelling. "Damn...what is it that I see in you? I don't get it." Just then, Tythes smiled a bit as he looked at the woman, leaning closer to her.

"I don't get it either, but... it's a nice feeling, isn't it?" Few moments later, the two kissed each other on the lips, much to the surprise of the servants who were watching the arguing.

After this, the two got up just as Tythes remembered something. "Wait a minute. We were supposed to go over to Arkanis' house!!" The two then scrambled to get ready and left the house in a hurry.

But as they arrived outside the estate, the two encountered Nina and Sethion sitting at the entrance of the mansion, holding each other by the hand and apparently waiting for something.

Just as Maria was about to ask about what is going on, all four hear pained screams coming from inside the house. Recognizing the one in pain to be Elise, Maria quickly realized what was going on.

"Ooh, so it's started now!!"
