Battle of Demonic Power

As Courtney was invited by Isabelle to the le Fleurette family household to spend the winter holidays, the girl soon found out that her friend had asked her parents if they could adopt her.

But after inviting Isabelle's friends, including her rival Clarice de Lisette, their celebration was cut short as Evert, the mad former student of Wisdio, decided to attack them.

While Clarice and Gilford rushed at the demonologist and threw gravity spells at him to hold him off, it was clear to everyone that he was targeting Isabelle and Courtney for some reason.

The man continued to rush at the two, ignoring the gravity spells that tried to push her away while Isabelle's parents started firing arcane blasts at him, worried of what would happen to their daughter if this man caught her now.

Seeing everyone trying to fight off the man but being beaten aside one by one, Courtney began to panic, a surge of energy going through her that catched Evert's attention as he was about to attack Travis.

"That magical aura feels similar to mine! But how?!" Just then, the girl began to focus her power into a plea of help, and a crimson summoning circle with the symbols of Hell and a unique mark of its own appeared on the wall.

Seeing this, Travis' succubus companion Alexis emerged from her seal on the young man's shoulder, looking on as the summoning circle shatters, shards blasting at the walls and nearly hitting the mages themselves.

She uttered a name in confusion and fear, one that confused everyone except Evert, who grinned in a vile manner. "Sonneillon...but why is he here?!" The demon himself appeared from the shattered circle, looking around curiously as he entered the room.

The pale-skinned demon towered over the average person, and he has purple hair going down to his back with bangs covering the right side of his face. His eyes were red with black sclera, and his body was covered by long black robes.

Weirdly enough, the patterns on his robes looked like actual eyes and mouths, and he wore a wide-brimmed wizard's hat similar to the one that Courtney wore. As he finished looking around the room, he spoke out in a harsh tone.

"Who dared to summon me?!" Just then, Evert yelled out to him in response. "I am the one who summoned you. Now, let us kill these fo-" His words were cut short as a bullet shot through his left shoulder, knocking him back a bit.

The other mages turned to look at the demon, who is now holding two hand-guns in hand, specifically revolvers, which was surprising seeing how even the most advanced weapons were only seen held by dwarves.

Sonneillon, clearly not amused by Evert's claim, fires a second shot at him and mocks him, seeing him regenerate. "Fool. Scum like you isn't worthy of summoning a demon of my caliber."

Just then, the demon turned to look at Courtney, sensing something about her before turning his attention back to Evert who was now charging at him, only to be greeted by a barrage of bullets formed of dark energy.

While the bullets hardly did any damage, the evil mage suddenly noticed a secondary effect on them as his spells fail to form. "What the hell?! My magic isn't working!!" Just then, Travis slashed at Evert in his pseudo-incubus form, forcing him away.

"What's wrong, Evert? Can't fight someone who wields the same powers as you do after all?" Seeing that he has lost his advantage, he rushed away from the window, yelling out to everyone as his dark wings spread.

"I will be back for all of you!! Especially those two demons you have there!!" Just then, Alexis removed herself from Travis and turned to look at Sonneillon, worried about what would happen now.
