Bandit Story part 12

Day of Redemption

As Lola finds out that she has been hired by Malfer to perform at a party held in his castle, she begins to feel worried about seeing her two sisters Ami and Mai again, knowing she still needs to show them how well she has done in her life.

But thanks to her friend Logias, she manages to shrug off this feeling of unease and gather the bravery needed to step on the stage and show her sisters how well she has been doing.

While the group prepares for the oncoming performance, Justin listens on to the party at the throne room while Tobe is asleep and Cindy practices with Logs. Lola grabs her microphone and grins as a servant arrives to speak to them.

"The stage has been set for you people. Please, follow me." The gang does as asked, with Tobe waking up while Logs drags him along. Cindy grins in excitement while Justin keeps his arms crossed while walking.

Lola keeps a neutral expression on her face until the five set foot on stage. Once there, she smiles a bit to the crowd, hoping to see if Mai and Ami are already there before yelling out. "Alright, let's do this!!"

The band then starts to play their own version of a rock track Cindy had kept in storage along with some other ideas of hers. As the band plays, the crowd seems to take a liking to it, a fact that causes Malfer to grin.

"Excellent work. Now, where are those two?" Not long after saying this, Mai and Ami arrive to see what is going on. Looking towards the stage, the twins notice their sister singing on stage, much to their surprise.

"Wait, that's Lola!!" While Mai seems to look at her with a worried expression, Ami grins a bit. "Heh, never saw this one coming." As the two listen on, they begin to remember all the times they had neglected their younger sister.

Unsurprisingly, both begin to feel bad, with Ami grinding her teeth a bit and Mai lowering her head in shame. Lola manages to see the two in the crowd, almost losing focus on the song being played.

Some time later, the band finishes, with Lola grinning to the crowd as they cheer. "THANK YOU!!" But as the crowd then goes on back to the tables filled with food and other entertainment, Ami and Mai rush to face the gang as they get ready to leave.

Unfortunately for them, Logias and Justin decide to block their path, glaring at them in an unfriendly manner. "And what do you two want?" While Ami refuses to talk, Mai quickly speaks out before Lola gets a chance to leave.

"We want to talk with our sister!!" The two men look at one another for a second, and then let the two pass. Lola turns to look at her sisters with a solemn expression, waiting to hear what they wanted to say.

Lola still recalls Mai being the nicer one of her sisters, and she doesn't seem surprised as she speaks out first. "Lola, I just wanted to say that you did an awesome job out there...and...I'm sorry about the things we did back then..."

A faint smile appears on her face, but it quickly fades to a frown as she sees Ami crossing her arms. But, only a few seconds later she speaks out too. "I don't want to admit that I was being a bitch...but I guess I have no choice."

The bandit gang looked on, surprised as Lola suddenly hugs her sisters with a smile on her face. "Hey, it's okay. I still feel like beating the crap out of you two, but I still forgive you."

Hearing this, Ami laughs to herself a bit before speaking out again. "Heh, only our sister would say something as silly as that." As she then let her sisters go, she begins to walk out from the castle alongside her friends.

But just as she is about to leave, Mai speaks out to her again. "Wait!!" Lola turns to look, and listens on. "Why don't you stay here for a while? Like, we could talk about things that have happened and such..."

Hearign this, the woman smiles as she answers. "Sure, why not?"
